Hey There Cluster Lead

Cluster Leads are crucial to the success of the IntellectX Cluster Program. Each cluster is managed by a team of four individuals, each taking on a specific role to ensure the effective running of the cluster and the success of its members.

Requirements

  • Must be passionate about personal growth, community engagement, and learning.

  • Should have good communication and organizational skills.

  • Be willing to take the initiative and contribute actively to the cluster's success.

  • Previous leadership experience is an asset but not mandatory.

  • Faculty Involvement: While it's not mandatory to get the approval of college faculty in the cluster's activities, it is important to keep them informed and engaged. Faculty members can offer valuable insights, mentorship, and support to the students, enhancing the overall learning experience.

  • Each college can have multiple cluster leads.

Roles and
Responsibilities 

Each cluster is managed by a team of four leads, each with distinct roles and responsibilities:

  1. Cluster President

    • Provides strategic leadership for the cluster and drives long-term vision.

    • Acts as the primary decision-maker and represents the cluster at community events.

    • Coordinates with other clusters to align strategies and share best practices.

  2. Community Outreach Lead

    • Builds partnerships with local organizations, student groups, and other stakeholders.

    • Focuses on promoting the cluster's activities and recruiting new members.

    • Engages in outreach initiatives to raise awareness about IntellectX within the broader community.

  3. Event Specialist​

    • Designs engaging experiences, such as workshops, seminars, and interactive events, tailored to cluster goals.

    • Manages event logistics, including venue coordination, resources, and communication with speakers.

    • Ensures a high-quality experience for participants, focusing on impactful and memorable events.

  4. Faculty Advisor

    • ​​The faculty advisor serves as a mentor to the cluster team, providing guidance, oversight, and support for activities while ensuring alignment with academic standards and institutional policies.
